Instructions:

Preparation:

  1. Clean and Shape Nails: Start by removing any old nail polish. File your nails to the desired shape and length. Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher.
  2. Buff the Surface: Lightly buff the surface of your nails to remove any shine. This helps the gel polish adhere better.
  3. Clean the Nails: Wipe your nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in isopropyl alcohol to remove dust and oils.

Application:

  1. Apply Base Coat:
    • Apply a thin layer of gel base coat to each nail.
    • Cure under a UV/LED lamp according to the product’s instructions (usually 30-60 seconds).
  2. Apply Base Color:
    • Apply a thin layer of nude or clear gel polish as the base color.
    • Cure under the UV/LED lamp as directed.
  3. Repeat Base Color:
    • Apply a second thin layer of the base color for full opacity and cure again.
  4. Create the French Tips:
    • If using French manicure guides or nail tape, place them on your nails to outline the area for the teal tip.
    • Using the teal gel polish, paint the tips of your nails. Use a small nail art brush for precision.
    • If not using guides, freehand the tips carefully, starting with a thin line and building up the thickness as desired.
    • Cure under the UV/LED lamp.
  5. Second Coat of Teal:
    • Apply a second coat of teal gel polish to the tips for a more vibrant color and cure again.

Finishing:

  1. Apply Top Coat:
    • Apply a thin layer of gel top coat over the entire nail, sealing the edges. This will protect your design and add shine.
    • Cure under the UV/LED lamp.
  2. Remove Sticky Layer:
    • After curing, remove the sticky layer by wiping your nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in isopropyl alcohol.
  3. Moisturize:
    • Finish by moisturizing your hands and cuticles with a hand cream or cuticle oil.

Tips:

  • Thin Layers: Always apply gel polish in thin layers to avoid bubbling and ensure even curing.
  • Clean Up: If any polish gets on your skin, clean it up with a small brush or orange stick before curing.
  • Patience: Take your time to ensure each layer is applied smoothly and evenly.
